We were meant to be ....

I found one of the greatest websites this weekend and have had way too much fun with it this morning .... yearbookyourself.com

I uploaded photos of us to see what a fine looking couple we would have been in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s .... We were already a couple in the 90s but the pictures were too awesome to leave out ....

Check us out! :-)

1960s -

late 1960s

Mike - I can't believe we found your high school graduation picture!

1970s -

1980s -

1990s -

Okay ... just one comment .... don't you think I look like DJ Tanner from Full House in the 90s pictures?

Andrew's photo blended in a whole lot better than mine did ... let's just say he has a classic look about himself ...

Hahaha ...

Have a Happy Week!

Our paper shredder

Okay - Louie has been crate trained for a year now and Andrew and I decided that this past Friday would be her first day of freedom for over 8 hours. We have left her out before for up to 5 hours ... but never over 8. So, needless to say, we (well, I) was pretty nervous.
We put all of the shoes in the closet, all of the clothes were tucked away, blankets out of reach, and left nothing on the counters for her to discover. We spread her toys throughout the house so she wouldn't get bored. We thought we were in the clear and only feared for our furniture and comforter.
Here is what we came home to ....

(The purple blanket is hers.)

Woah, huh? Well, all of that paper was in a grocery bag and it was meant to be shredded. I guess she decided to take care of it for us. But I have to say, I was a proud mommy ... she didn't get into anything else!

We'll see how tomorrow goes! Keep your fingers crossed.

Saying goodbye

Well, our vacation in Maine is about to end. I thought I would post quick before we go to bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long drive back to Charlotte but atleast we will be in good company with one another. I know, it's cheesy. :-) But if you know me at all you know that is how I think. And Andrew does too ... even though he puts up a front here and there.

Today was a great last day at the festival. Andrew and I got there around noon for our last lobster meal of our trip. I tried to total all of the lobster we consumed and figure it up to be about 8. Andrew had a whole lot more then I did .... I am about sick of seafood. I am ready to get back to the south for some good home cooked veggies and maybe even some chicken. I have been going through a phase lately in which chicken makes me feel sick. But I can't eat anymore fish for awhile. Maybe I will just go vegetarian. That actually sounds pretty good to me.

Anyway, back to the trip ...

I finished up my shopping for our loved ones ... I am so excited to give you your presents! :-) Hint ... everyone gets a little bit of Maine. No, it's not lobster.

Oh, and Andrew has been working out while we have been up here. Check out those muscles!

Today was a relaxed day at the festival. We got back a little early to relax and pack up the car. Our last dinner was at ... now, don't laugh ... Pizza Hut. Hey, I told you I could do no more seafood and that was the next best thing.

Okay ... time to end this random post of mine. My mind is jumping back and forth from finishing packing and getting some sleep.
Love to you all ...
