Oktoberfest!!

Yay for Oktoberfest ... what a way to kick off for the fall!!

If you love beer and have never been to a beer festival you are missing out! For a $35 ticket we walked from one tent to another and got to sample all sorts of delicious beer ... and not so delicious beer. :-) We also got the coolest souvenir beer glasses ... and yes, it's glass. The one it Raleigh handed out little plastic ones which were cool too. But the ones from yesterday are even cooler. I know I sound lame talking about the glasses - but you would think they were cool too.

Anyway, we had such a great time with Leah and her friends. We met some really cool people, had our fun with the beer, and then had dinner at Cabo Fish Taco!! YUMMY ... that is some good food.

Now it's time to relax and watch some football! Go Panthers!

Two weeks later ....

Here are pictures from our weekend with Amy and Chase!! Obviously Chase was the center of attention ... enjoy!

Gas Crisis

What a bad week to run on E!!

And we were close! And as absurd as it sounds, we couldn't go to work yesterday. Seriously, both of us would have ran out of gas on our way to work. And we aren't ones to drive around until our gas lights start flashing. We each had a quarter of tank on Wednesday and drove around hoping to find some gas. Well, Andrew found a place ... got in line .... and then the station ran dry before his turn came up. We then took my car out, found one place that was 60 cars deep but we knew there was no way there would still be gas by the time it would be our turn.

But, thanks to Mom and Dad Raynor, we have fuel! (yeah, we owe you guys big time!)

Charlotte is having a fuel breakdown and it's causing everyone to freak out! Seriously ... people are getting into fights, bumping into other driver's cars, and camping out until more gas arrives. NO, THANK YOU!!

What a stressful week ... thank goodness tomorrow is Oktoberfest!

Dear Auntie Amy and Uncle Bryan

Dear Auntie Amy and Uncle Bryan,

Mommy made me write you an apology ... I have been very naughty. But before I get to why I just want to say a couple of things. I love you both very much. And I love your little boy, Chase. He is just so cute that I want to lick all over him when I see him. Please remember that as you read my reason for my apologies.

I did something terrible. It started the second week of freedom while Mommy and Daddy were at work. Well, you see I get really lonely when they are gone. They leave all of my toys around, plenty of food and water, and they even accept the fact that I nap on Daddy's chair while they are gone. But sometimes I miss them so much that I go looking for something that reminds me of them.

Well, I found that fabulous blue quilt that you guys gave them as a wedding shower gift. It was so fabulous that I made a few holes in it. Let me tell you, Mom and Dad weren't happy. But Mommy was able to fold it and hang it over the couch again so you couldn't tell. I have no idea why she did that because she would have been horrified if someone were to try to cuddle underneath it and notice all of the love bites I created.

I did it again today ... and this time I left it in the middle of the floor for Mommy and Daddy to find. They gave up on the blanket and it is now in the trash.

They have forgiven me so now I am asking for yours.

I love you very much ... remember that always (especially this weekend ... I really wanna lick Chase's face).

Your loving doggy niece,

Louie

Attached is a picture Mommy took of me sitting on the blanket. Can't you see that they're not holes of being a destructive dog. It's all love, I swear.

We've been MIA ...

but we're here!!

Life has been keeping us pretty busy and I keep meaning to blog. Here are a few things we've been doing:

1. We got to meet Taylor -- Holly's little one! She is just adorable and big brother Landon is terrific with her. Andrew and I had dinner with her and her family a few weekends ago. It was so great catching up with her ... I hate that we have so much distance between us. Maybe I could convince them into a Charlotte move ... :-) One can only hope and dream.

2. We went to one of the most beautiful weddings on the Biltmore grounds the other weekend. Mark and Andrea have been together just as long as us and we were so excited to be there to help them celebrate. The whole evening was perfect. If you haven't been up to Asheville or the Biltmore ... you should go. It's only a 2 hour drive from us so I think we may plan a weekend out of it soon so we can take it all in. Gorgeous.

3. My big sis bought a house!! It is awesome ... it's nestled in a very hip, older part of Charlotte and I am super jealous. She officially moved in over the weekend and it is looking fabulous ... I'll have to get some pictures of it and post them so I won't be the only jealous one. :-) She has claimed there isn't enough closet space for clothes and shoes. I can take care of that ... hand them over!!!!

Today will be fun ... going back to Leah's and we (and TT too!) are going to the movies. TT is by best Charlotte friend, Tara. So excited to go out with my favorite girls today ...

Now that the weekend is almost over I will go back to counting down the workdays until the next weekend. Wanna know why??? Amy and Chase are coming in for a visit ... and Holly too!!! I don't know if the weekend can get here fast enough .... be prepared .... a picture blog will be in the making!! :-)

This was such a girly blog ....
With that said ....

Hugs and Kisses!
