So, remember my birthday post?

And I wrote that I was having an awesome birthday? Well, I received the best birthday present ever! Andrew and I found out that morning that we were going to be parents!! And ever since then our life has been a whirlwind of excitement.

I do apologize for taking such a long break. My first trimester treated me pretty well ... a lot of exhaustion but very little nausea. By the time I hit the second trimester, I was well on my way to feeling good and getting back to my old self. Ever since then we have been getting ready for the baby and I haven't even really thought about blogging. And that bothers me ... I have so badly wanted to document this experience and I haven't done much at all to do so. Shame on me.

But I am back ... with a strong desire to keep this blog of mine (ours) going.

Just wanted to say hello for now ... I'll be doing some photo updates, posting pictures of our nursery and of me, and writing a few catchup posts all about Baby Rudy.
